Hi, I'm Mája from Mabellphoto and maternity photography is one of my passions. As a lifestyle photographer and a mum, I know how important gentle, lasting memories from pregnancy are — it's not about perfection but about authenticity, emotion and memories you'll cherish for life. I most often shoot in Klášterec nad Ohří, Prague and the Chomutov area, but I'm happy to travel to the location you prefer. I favor natural light and outdoor sessions shortly before sunset, when the warm golden tones really highlight your bump and create an intimate atmosphere. If you prefer indoors, I can arrange a studio in Prague or come to your home — at-home sessions are calm and safe, ideal for mothers who feel more comfortable in their own environment. My approach is gentle and conversational — I'll help with posing but never push you into unnatural positions. I recommend scheduling maternity photography roughly between the 33rd and 36th week, when the bump is nicely rounded and you still feel comfortable. Before the session we will discuss outfits, locations and the desired mood; I'll advise on colors (earth tones work beautifully) and provide outfit and dress rental — dress rental is included so the final images are cohesive and you feel beautiful. Working with me means friendly, responsive communication from your first message to the delivery of edited photos. You can also use a makeup artist — I’m happy to recommend trusted stylists to boost your confidence and comfort in front of the camera. The maternity photographs I create emphasize natural light, soft color grading and capturing relationships — whether you want an intimate portrait of you and your bump, couple shots with your partner, or a family pregnancy session with older children.
