I'm Ivana Soukupová and maternity photography is one of my main specializations. My work is built on naturalness and authenticity — I avoid artificial setups and excessive props. In maternity sessions I look for femininity, emotion and the quiet beauty of those moments when you are preparing for a new life. I prefer shooting in your home, because most mothers feel most comfortable and natural there. A well-lit window, a few personal items and I will create images that will evoke warm memories of this time for years to come. If you prefer, we can also shoot outdoors — in nature or in the town — always according to the place where you feel most yourself. I usually recommend booking around the seventh month, but I always follow how you feel. Before the session I like to talk so I know what you expect from the photos — what style you prefer, whether you want your partner or children included, and what matters most to you. During the shoot I guide you through gentle, natural poses and help create a relaxed atmosphere. You don’t need to be a model — my job is to find and highlight your natural beauty. What you can expect from me: a sensitive approach, patience and a focus on elegance and good taste. I’m not a fan of exaggerated accessories — the photos should tell your story and remain a faithful keepsake. I edit images to keep them timeless — often offering black-and-white versions where that enhances the emotion. I primarily work in the Znojmo area (I live in Dešov), but I’m happy to travel wherever you would like to shoot.
