My name is Bára Chodounská and, as a mother of two, I photograph pregnancy with a genuine understanding of this unique time. I specialize in maternity photography and approach each session knowing it represents an important chapter in your family’s story. My aim is to capture naturalness, tenderness and true emotion so you can still recognize yourselves in the images years from now. My working style is calm and friendly. During the session I guide poses gently and often demonstrate them on myself to make working with the camera easy and relaxed. I strive to create an atmosphere where you feel like you’re being photographed by a friend over coffee — we talk, laugh and let authentic moments appear. I shoot naturally, without forced smiles, because I believe the most beautiful images arise from real human connection. I offer practical help with preparation: I advise on location and outfit choices, and every client is welcome to select dresses from my client wardrobe at no extra charge — no stress hunting for the perfect outfit. In the session I focus on delicate belly portraits as well as intimate images with a partner or children, depending on what you wish to preserve. I describe my style as timeless, soft and attentive to both light and emotion. I primarily photograph around Horní Měcholupy and Prague but I’m happy to adapt the location to your preferences. From the first email to the delivery of your final edited photographs, I stay in close contact to explain the process and ensure everything runs according to your needs.
