I'm Hanka, a specialist maternity photographer based in Orlová. I create natural, emotive pregnancy portraits in studio and on location, with dress rental and the option to combine with newborn sessions.
Maternity photography is a special chapter for me — as both a mother and a photographer I deeply appreciate the beauty and fragility of this time. I specialize in maternity portraits and base my work on naturalness, a calm atmosphere and genuine emotions. My approach is not about perfect posing but about capturing your connection to the expected baby and the unique moments that cannot be repeated. I primarily photograph in Orlová and throughout the Moravian-Silesian Region — offering sessions in the studio and on location. My studio is in Šenov near Ostrava (close to Orlová), but I’m happy to come to a place that has personal meaning for you. I work with natural light and sensitive styling; when needed I provide dress rental to create soft, timeless images that highlight your pregnancy beauty. Before the session we discuss style, locations and the flow — I want you to feel comfortable and be yourself. I usually recommend shooting between the 32nd and 36th week of pregnancy, though I can photograph a little earlier depending on how you feel. I also offer the possibility to connect your maternity session with a newborn session so the transition from bump to first meeting can be captured consistently and sensitively. My work is supported by specialized education in maternity and newborn photography and many years of practice. In post‑processing I prefer a faithful reflection of reality — light retouching, gentle colour toning and contrast adjustments rather than radical changes in proportions. I aim for images that feel truthful and tender.
