My approach is based on dialogue — before the session we discuss style, outfits and accessories, I help with posing guidance and during the shoot I offer gentle direction so the images feel natural and emotive. I keep a selection of dresses and props in the studio for you to borrow, so there’s no need to search for complicated outfits. I love shooting outdoors for playful, airy images, or in the studio for more intimate, fine-art maternity portraits. I recommend scheduling the session between the 28th and 36th week — the bump is nicely rounded and you’ll feel comfortable. How the collaboration works: we arrange the date and location, and shortly before the session we confirm style and any wardrobe loans. A typical maternity session lasts about 60 minutes, during which I focus on natural moments, belly details and family shots if you wish to include your partner or older children. After the session you’ll receive proofs and choose the images for retouching. The finished photos are delivered in full quality via an online gallery.
