My name is Veronika Holdová, and I approach maternity photography with great love and sensitivity. As a mother, I understand how unique and delicate the pregnancy period is — my goal is to capture its tenderness in a natural, honest way. I specialize in maternity photography in České Budějovice and the surrounding area, and I treat every session individually, respecting your wishes and your current comfort. My style is natural and unobtrusive. I love photographing outdoors in the soft evening light, when the landscape enhances the mood of the image, but I also enjoy working in the studio to create more intimate, calm portraits. I use props sparingly — often a blanket, a flower, or simple clothing is enough. I focus on natural poses, subtle emotions and concentrated details of the belly, hands and glances that tell your story. I work to make the session a relaxed and pleasant experience for you. Before we meet I like to exchange ideas and agree on a suitable location and time (I often recommend evening light). During the shoot I guide gently and patiently — I’ll suggest poses that emphasize the silhouette of the belly and help create natural moments without forced posing. The atmosphere is informal; I want the expectant mother to feel comfortable and beautiful. After the session I carefully select and retouch the images so that each frame expresses the emotion and aesthetic you want. Edits are done with sensitivity — I offer both color and black-and-white versions depending on the character of the shot. I pay close attention to skin tones, natural light balance and subtle contrast to preserve the authenticity of the moment.
