I’m Monika Váňová and maternity photography is my speciality. I focus on creating gentle, emotive and timeless images that capture the unique period of expectation. I work personally and with sensitivity — my aim is not just a pretty picture, but to preserve the mood, the relationships and the natural beauty that pregnancy brings. My work is built on naturalness: in the studio in Újezdec near Mělník I use light and simple styling to highlight your body and emotions, while outdoors I choose locations around Neratovice and Mělník where soft daylight enhances the tenderness of the moment. I recommend scheduling sessions between weeks 28 and 34, when the bump is beautifully visible and the mother-to-be usually feels comfortable — I always adapt the pace and flow of the session to your needs. How I work: first we’ll talk about your ideas — the style, colour palette and whether to include a partner or siblings. During the session I create a relaxed, calm atmosphere, guiding you gently and suggesting simple, elegant poses that look natural. I use neutral, natural tones, subtle props and pay attention to detail and expression so the images remain timeless and suit your home. With many years of experience in maternity and family photography, I know how to build trust and relaxation — even with clients who feel unsure in front of the camera. I edit images with care so colours and light match your vision, delivering photographs you’ll love to return to.
